evaluating webquest

Hey there,
Our task for this week is evaluating a webquest about English/Language Arts and I chose the one from zunal. This site is useful enough but not much efficient. Both teachers and students can use it. I chose a webquest named Visiting Barcellona to evaluate.    Firstly I evaluated it at the point of overall visual appeal.  This webquest is about visiting and it needs more visual materials; however, this webquest is inadequate in term of visual. But still navigation is clear. There are some sections and you can easily scan the webpage. You can find and go wherever you want. There are are no broken links. I wasn't face with a problem in terms of mechanics.    The introduction part with its picture draws readers' attention.

Given information catches the readers to the topic slowly.   Task is related to the topic. It is well set to make the readers what they should know and what they can achieve by using these standards. Also it is clear enough to understand.   On the process page, every step of it is clearly stated. Almost every students know what they are supposed to do. The students can reach the sources that they can use. Activities are clearly related and designed to take the students from basic knowledge to higher level thinking. Strategies and organizational tools embedded in the process are sufficient to ensure that all students will gain the knowledge needed to complete the task.    At the point of the resources, there is a clear and meaningful connection between all the resources and the information. All resources used are qualify enough, and they all are relevant to the topic.     At the evaluation part, The evaluation instrument clearly measures what students must know and be able to do to accomplish the task.

I like this job :)
